WCA launches partnership with Lincoln Village Ministry

www.lincolnvillageministry.com

In the fall of 2011, Westminster Christian Academy began a relationship with the Lincoln Village Ministries. This relationship developed from the desire on the part of the school to provide its students opportunities to apply their faith in areas outside of our Westminster Community. Lincoln Village is a ministry specifically equipped to address the issue of poverty in our own Huntsville community.

Westminster’s partnership includes serving meals one day a month with our 'Chef for a Day' program. Students sign up to participate and serve meals in this after school program. They also have the opportunity to fellowship and build relationships with students from the Lincoln Village area. Our hope is that this is the beginning of expanded opportunities for our students and school to apply our faith in answer to His call and to build lifetime habits of service before God.

How to get involved
Westminster students interested in serving should visit Renweb to sign up. Parents, grandparents or friends of WCA interested in serving can contact Ann Laue or Lakshmi Nallamala.

We welcome your support and prayers with this school ministry.
