You will NEED  your student number when scheduling.  Failure to use it, will result in your schedule not being processed.  You may find your student number on your student ID card, your schedule, report card, in the school library, and/or by logging into Edline, choosing school info on the right hand side of the screen, and selecting to view Student Numbers.
Please note that you may NOT take more than one Tutorial Period, thus you may only select it as the last elective choice.
Seniors may not take Work-Release unless they have a documented job requiring early release.  This must be brought to Mrs. Huston prior to her adding it to your schedule.
Independent Study, Aide, Special Topics in Computer, Yearbook, and selected other courses do require pre-approval of the instructor and/or administration.

Math Placement Policy

In order to be placed in Pre-Algebra when entering the 7th grade both of the following conditions must be met:

  1. Score 85 on the Pre-Algebra Placement Test
  2. Maintain a yearly average of 89 or above

Students who take Pre-Algebra in the 7th grade or Algebra I in the 8th grade must have a yearly average of 89 or above to advance to the next level. Students in all math classes will require a teacher’s recommendation and sufficient progress to advance to the next level.

English Placement

Placement in English classes will be determined by the English Department.  Please select the SAME section of English you are presently taking unless a teacher has informed you that you may change levels.

Honors and AP Courses

The prerequisites for enrolling in an Honors or AP course are a B+ average in the previous course and the recommendation of a teacher.  A student will be moved into the regular class at semester if an 89 average is not maintained unless the teacher approves continuation with stipulations.  No honors credit will be given for a semester where a student’s grade is below C+.
