Realistic Fiction Book Report
Use a piece of 18”
x 26” tagboard (poster board) and six 8” x 8” squares
of paper. Glue the squares onto the tagboard, two in each row, simulating “stitching” around
each piece.
Each of the
squares will tell specific information about your story. The first square should tell the title and
author. The second square should tell
about the characters (list their names and tell a couple of things about each
one). The third and fourth squares
should tell about the plot (what happened in the story). Be careful to tell about the beginning, the
middle, and the end. You may spread that
information out over the two squares. On
the fifth square, tell about the setting (where and when it took place). And finally, on the sixth square, tell one
lesson you learned from the story.
Include color and pictures on each square and decorate the tagboard background to make it look like a quilt.
You may write or
type the information, but be neat and creative.
I will be grading on how complete and correct your information is and
also on how creative you made your quilt.

This project will be due on
Thursday, May 8, 2008. Have fun and do
