Choral & Theatre

Great things are happening in the W.C.A. Theatre and Choral music programs!! After a tremendous first year, we are expecting even greater things in 2011-2012! In addition to competing in the Walter J. Trumbauer Dramatic Festival in the fall and early winter, our theatre program hopes to perform its first full-length musical next spring in conjunction with the choral music program. As a grand finale, our theatre program looks forward to its first ever trip to the theatre capital of the world, New York, New York in late spring!!

Our choral music program looks forward to a busy year of concerts and competitions, beginning with the Madison County Honor Choir in the fall as well as participation in the Walter J. Trumbauer Musical Theatre competition in the fall and early winter. Add a Christmas and spring concert, as well as competing next spring in the Alabama Vocal Association State Assessments and then cap it off with a trip to the Magic Music Days at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and you can see why we truly expect "Excellence in ALL Things" in theatre and choir at Westminster!
