      Something to CHEER About

CHRIST alone is sinless.

The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." You may be a pretty good person compared to others you know...or you may be the vilest criminal on the earth. Either way, you are a sinner & cannot be compared with a holy & sinless God.

Hear what sin demands.

There is a penalty for sin and God’s law demands its payment. "For the wages of sin is death". (Romans 6:23a) God believes in the death penalty. We must all eventually pay for our sins.

Everyone is offered the gift.

In strong contrast to the PAYMENT for sin demanded by God is the free GIFT offered by this same God. He gave His only begotten sinless son, Jesus Christ, to be the payment for our sins! He took all our sins on Himself. "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23 b) A GIFT for PAYMENT.... LIFE when we deserved DEATH. WHAT AMAZING GRACE!

Every sin forgiven!

When God does something, he doesn’t do it half way. Every sin we have ever committed was taken to the cross that day when Jesus died...past, present and future. NOW THERE’S SOMETHING TO CHEER ABOUT! "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS!" I John 1:9

Receive CHRIST!

Right now you have an opportunity to RECEIVE this Free Gift of eternal life When you open the door of your heart and invite Jesus Christ in, He is that eternal encourager who loves you unconditionally and will never leave you alone.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock" Rev 3:20a

Athlete Practice Dress Policy – Girls should practice in “basketball length” shorts or should have spandex (biker shorts) underneath athletic shorts.  The spandex should show at least a little so that coaches will be able to easily determine if the player is in proper dress.  At no time will spandex alone be appropriate.  Girls should never roll their shorts or have writing on the rear end of the shorts.  Girls should never practice in tank tops or only sports bras.  Sleeveless shirts may be worn as long as the arm hole is small enough to cover under garments.  Modesty is the guideline.  There will always be males around while girls are practicing.  Boys should wear shorts that cover their underwear and are of a modest length.  Shorts with high splits up the side should not be worn.  Boys must always have a shirt on.  No “shirts and skins” practices.  Boys may wear sleeveless shirts, but the arm holes should not be excessively large.  No "A" shirts are permitted unless worn under another shirt.  These guidelines will apply to all WCA athletics.
