The Men and Women’s Swim Teams competed against all the high schools in

the City of Huntsville.

Lady Swimmers

• Placed second in the 200 Medley Relay

• Placed Fourth in the 200 Freestyle Relay

• Holly Cartwright placed second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 yard butterfly

• Whitney Bumpas placed Fifth in the 200 yard Freestyle and Fourth in the 100 yard Freestyle

• Jamie Kennedy placed Eighth in the 100 freestyle and Third in the 100 backstroke

• Lily Deng placed eight in the 100 breaststroke

• Holly Cartwright set new records in the 200 yard IM and the 100 yard butterfly

   

   

Gentlemen Swimmers

• Eddie Lumpkin placed seventh in the 100 freestyle and made a new state qualifying time

• Eddie also set a new WCA record in the 100 freestyle beating the previous record by over four seconds

Thus far five WCA swimmers have made one or more individual state qualifying times.

Their last swim meet of the season will be next Tuesday at the Natatorium where

the North Alabama Invitational will be held with High Schools competing from all over North Alabama.
