Westminster conducts standardized tests each April of its students in 3rd – 8th grades. The school uses the Stanford 10 test. Students in 10th grade are given the PLAN (Pre-ACT) test on campus; it is administered by our Director of Counseling. Students are also given the PSAT test on campus in 11th grade, although the school will allow 10th grade students to sign up and take the test as well. The school encourages students to take the ACT and the SAT for college entrance.

The school tests all of its students unless the student is diagnosed with an identified learning disability. Those students require a different environment for testing, and, therefore, are tested separately because of requirements which included extra time and other modifications. These modifications occur primarily in grade one – five, although minor accommodations can be given in middle school in select situations.
