Welcome from AdvancementThank you for your interest in how we fund the mission of Westminster Christian Academy. For 49 years God has faithfully touched the hearts of countless individuals, organizations, and families in our community to meet the financial needs of our school. We recognize it is by His grace that we are able to provide Biblical instruction, Christian relationships, and excellent academics to our students. We aspire to be financially accessible to a wide range of Christian families. This means we use tuition and fees to meet the operational needs of the school. We rely on donations to fund our buildings and cover the cost of additional programs. In 2009 we moved to the beautiful and functional Brockway campus. Contributions from the previous Forward in Faith capital campaign and the current Tomorrow Begins Today campaign have been, and continue to be, essential for the financial health of the school. When donations are insufficient to cover the cost of facilities, the difference must be paid from operational funds. This constrains our teacher-student ratio, the classes we can offer, and the implementation of identified academic improvements. In October and November of 2012 16 families provided funds and pledges totaling $442,500. These funds provide for critical near term instructional needs and demonstrate an ability to count on donations. On January 30th, 2013 we sent mortgage refinancing solicitation letters to six banks. We are endeavoring to have a new mortgage in place by late spring. We ask that you prayerfully consider how you might apportion some of God’s financial resources to assist WCA in diligently serving students and implementing academic improvement plans. If you have any questions about how God’s funds will be applied, please contact the Head of School, Ron Klein.
