Week of Feb. 19-22

Monday	No School! I will be out from Tuesday through Friday. My daughter slipped on black ice and broke her ankle in three places. She has undergone surgery and has numerous plates, pins and screws holding her ankle together. She is also 5 and ½ months pregnant. The doctors have performed three ultra sounds and the baby appears to be fine. Chrissy has been in tremendous pain since the surgery and I am going out to help care for her and her 3 year old daughter, Anna. Chrissy’s husband is in Iraq (due home in 8 weeks). Please be in prayer for her during this very difficult time.
Tuesday	Grammar-check 7.11 in class. Do 7.12 in class aloud together. Students are to mark answers in their book. Do 7.13 for homework. *Announce Grammar Test on Friday. Johnny Tremain-read Chapters 8-10.

We have one class set of books and will read silently in class each day. However, students may check out a copy at the library or purchase their own copy to help keep up with their reading.
