Web Page Design Syllabus
Course Objectives: The objective of this course is to teach students to create Web pages. The students will be taught general design concepts and the process of developing a Web site. Dreamweaver MX and Front Page will be used.
Course Outline:
1st Quarter: Introducing
HTML and Dreamweaver.
Web Site
Development.
2nd Quarter: Images in Dreamweaver and Fireworks.
Topography,
Style Sheets, and Color.
3rd Quarter: Introducing
Flash.
Web Site
Categories and Types.
4th Quarter: Web Site
Projects.
Grading: Your grade will be the percentage of total points earned. There will be assignments and projects. It should work out to about 50% for assignments and 50% for projects.
Materials Needed:
Textbook: A guide to Web Development Using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX.
Notebook
Pen or pencil
