 Room: 14 Computer Lab

The yearbook class consists of students who have had an interview with the yearbook advisor and have been approved by administration.  This course is a privilege, not just another elective.

Over the summer, students must sell 5 business ads.  It will be the first grade entered into the grade book.  Students must also attend the training seminar put on by the yearbook company.

Throughout the year, students will: be assigned pages to create for the book, communicate with businesses for advertisements, and be at various events to take pictures.  Students must communicate with the yearbook editor and advisor, regularly.  When a page is created, the student must turn it into the editor for final approval, then to the advisor for a grade.

Grading is subjective and will mainly be based upon effort and classroom behavior.

Insubordination, failure to meet a deadline, inability to be at events, and failure to put forth effort on a nice looking page, will all result in poor grades, and possibly, removal from the staff.

Yearbook staff is in charge of:

Senior Portrait Scheduling

Underclassmen/Faculty Portrait Scheduling

Communication with Portrait Studios

Making monthly deadlines

Attendance at school functions/events as assigned by the editor

Ad sales

Page creation

Organization of pictures into files

Any other duties as assigned by the editor and/or advisor
