The Divided Kingdom

 Course Description

In regard to Paul’s epistle to the Romans, Martin Luther wrote: “This epistle is the chief book of the New Testament, the purest gospel. It deserves not only to be known word for word by every Christian, but to be the subject of his meditation day by day, the daily bread of his soul. . . a light and way into the whole Scriptures.”

Our study will begin with a consideration of the author, date, purpose and historical context of this letter.  We will then do a verse by verse study of the text with an emphasis on the essentials of Christian doctrine and apologetics.
