The WCA ABC
is an organization of volunteer parents whose desire is to assist in building a
quality athletic program, and whose purpose is to support the operation of the
Athletic Department. In cooperation with
the Athletic Director, the ABC provides support for all athletic teams.
Please
support the activities of the ABC, so together we can build the athletic
program our children so richly deserve.
Every dollar you spend goes directly to the ABC, and each and every
athlete benefits in the long run. If you have a special request on where your
“dollars” would like to go, please fill out an ABC Request Form found on the
ABC website or ask a Board Member for a form.
Some of the many items ABC has covered:
football equipment for the weight room, blocking sled for football,
equipment for the weight room, insulated game jackets, wrestling mats, basketball
toss back, a baseball pitching machine...
We are a
fairly new “Club” so please forgive our growing pains. Your feedback in how we can improve in the
future is very much appreciated. There
is a “Parent Survey” on the website, as of August 1st, that you can fill out to
help us grow stronger. We, as a Club,
can’t grow in a positive way, unless we hear from you.
The
following is some information on how you can get involved. We need more volunteers to succeed; please
consider volunteering in some small if not large capacity: WCA ABC New Membership – contact Dana
Glombowski @ 650-2135 or alrebell@comcast.net as our goal for 2008/2009 is 100%!
